WELCOME TO AQUIDNECK FARMS

In the summer of 2008 we began offering grass fed beef to customers in southern Rhode Island who wanted to purchase locally raised meats for their families from a farm that they knew and trusted.

As of September we completed our first full year of sales and what a year it has been!! We have an expanding list of restaurants and stores who regularly buy and serve our beef. We introduced our product in farmer’s markets and now have a loyal and rapidly growing customer base. Twenty-eight new calves joined us over the course of the summer, increasing our herd size to ninety-eight. In response to demand we are looking to double our beef supply in the next year. Although cattle continue to be the main focus of our farm, providing organic poultry is now an integral part of our future. We built our first chicken tractor and we are selling eggs! Pasteurized poultry broilers may be on the list of offers soon as well.

As many of you know, and to let the new visitors to our website in on our mission, our beef is 100% grass-fed, raised on pastures using sustainable practices. No corn, food wastes, animal by products or antibiotics are added to our feed.
